Today in this 2010 MINI Clubman, we're going to be test fitting the Thule Sidekick Roof Mounted Cargo Box, part number TH682. This has eight cubic feet of space to store your items. A weight capacity is going to be determined by the roof rack that you set it on, and the restrictions by your actual vehicle itself. This does lock so right now you can't get it open. Go ahead and unlock it, both sides, pop it open, and as you can see we have three spots here where it's already clamped down. We'll go ahead and get the final clamp and put it in place. more

Today on our 2005 Mini Cooper, we're going to be test fitting the Thule Sonic XXL Rooftop Cargo Box. With 22 cubic feet of storage space and Metallic Silver. It's part number TH636S. With our Thule rapid reverse roof rack system already installed on the cooper, we'll begin our test fit by placing our cargo box directly under a load bars. We found this is the best time to get our feet lined up so they go around their bars. We're positioning our boxes far forward as possible. As you can see, we still have a little interference with the antenna. more

Today on our 2005 Mini Cooper, were going to be test fitting the Thule Pulse Alpine Rooftop Cargo Box, with 11 cubic feet of storage space in matte black. Its part number TH613. With our Thule rapid traverse roof rack system already installed on the Cooper, well begin our test fit by placing our cargo box directly onto our load bars. As this box opens from the passenger side, well want to favor this side as we install it. As you can see, it does interfere slightly with our antenna, but with it moved over to the passenger side far enough, theres very little interference. Well place one of the foot packs through each of the four slots located on the bottom of the box, then well tighten them down. With all four of them secured, were ready to load our box up with some gear and hit the road. more

With our tooley rapid traverse roof rack system already installed on the cooper, we'll begin our test fit by placing our cargo box directly onto our load box. We found this is the best time to get our feet lined up so they'll go around our bars. With all four of our feet going around our load bars, we'll now take a quick look to be sure we have our box centered. We can then open the passenger side, reach in, and tighten the two acutight knob located closest to us. This system is designed to click when we have the proper tork applied. more

Today on our 2005 Mini Cooper we're going to be test fitting the Thule Pulse Large Rooftop Cargo Box. With 16 cubic feet of storage space in matte black, it's part #TH615. With our Thule Rapid Traverse Roof Rack System already installed on our Cooper, we'll begin our test fit by placing our cargo box directly on our load bars. This box opens from the passenger side, so we'll favor this side as we install it. Now take a quick look to make sure we have our box straight. We'll then make our way to the passenger side. Open the box and inside we're going to find 4 foot packs. We're going to place one foot pack through each of the 4 slots located in the bottom of the box, being sure that as we do this, they go around our load bar. more

As we do this, we'll want to favor the passenger side, since our box does open from the side. We'll now take a quick look to be sure we have our box straight. We'll then open the box up, reach in and we're going to find four foot packs. We'll place one of the foot packs through each of the four slots located in the floor of the box, being sure that as we do this, they go around our load bars. more

With our Thule rapid traverse roof rack system already installed on the Mini, were going to begin our test fit by placing our cargo box directly onto our load bars. Here at the rear of the box, its going to interfere pretty severely with our antenna. Im going to go ahead and remove it. Well now slide our box on being sure that all four of our feet are around to our load bars. Well then take a quick look to be sure we have box centered.Then well open the passenger side, reach in and tighten the two gray knobs located closest to us. more

A great feature of the Force Medium is its ability to open from both of the passenger and the driver side. You'll know when the clamps have been fully tightened down when the knobs start to make a ratcheting sound. We'll now move to the other side of the vehicle and repeat the same process. more

After positioning the clamps to fit over each bar we'll unlock the box and open the lid exposing the two closest knobs. We'll then turn the knobs to bring the clamps up around tightly against the bars. Youll know when the clamps have been fully tightened down when the knobs start to make the clicking sound. We'll know move to the other side of the vehicle and repeat the same process. more

Now our vehicle is already equipped with a Thule Rapid Traverse Roof Rack system so we'll begin our test fit by first placing the cargo box onto the vehicle's load bars. We'll then unlock the box and open the lid exposing the four slots in the bottom of the box. Remember, this box does only open from one side so you'll need to position it on the passenger's side of the vehicle. We'll now take the clamps and slide them down through the slots over top of each bar. We'll then tighten the knobs to bring the clamps up around tightly against both bars. more

We'll unlock the box and open the lid exposing the four slots in the bottom of the box. We'll take the clamps and slide them down through the slots over top of each bar turning the knobs to bring the clamps up around tightly against the bars. Now with everything all tightened down and secured you can see that we can easily access the rear hatch of our Mini Cooper with the Pulse Large secured. That will complete today's test fit for the Thule Pulse Medium Rooftop Cargo Box with 14 Cubic Feet of space, Matte Black in color, part number th614 on our 2006 Mini Cooper. more

Today on our 2006 Mini Cooper, we'll be test fitting the Thule Pulse Alpine rooftop cargo box, with 11 cubic feet of space, matte black in color, part number TH613. Now our vehicle is equipped with the Thule Rapid Traverse roof rack system, so we'll begin our test fit by first placing the cargo box onto the vehicle's load bars. Now we did have to remove the antenna in order to get the box onto the roof, and we removed it by simply untwisting it. We can now unlock the box and open the lid, exposing the four slots in the bottom of the box. We'll then take the clamps and slide them down through the slots over the top of each bar, and turn the knob to bring the clamp up around tightly against the load bars. With everything all tightened down and secured, you can see that with the Pulse Alpine's long and aerodynamic shape, it does come in contact with the rear hatch of the vehicle. more

After positioning the clamps to fit over each bar well unlock the box and open the lid exposing the two closest knobs. Well then turn the knobs to bring the clamps up around tightly against each bar. With this done we can move to the other side of the vehicle where we can again unlock it and open the lid exposing the two closest knobs. Now this double-sided opening lid also enables you to easily load and unload your cargo from either side of the vehicle. more

Yakima RocketBox Pro 12 Roof Cargo Box Review - 2004 Mini Cooper

Today on our 2004 Mini Cooper, well be test fitting the Yakima Rocketbox Pro12 Rooftop Cargo Box, 12 cubic feet in black, part number Y07191. With a roof rack system already assembled to the vehicle, well begin our test fit by setting our cargo box onto the vehicles crossbars. Well push the red button in to open up one side of the cargo box. On the inside of the cargo box, we will loosen up the black knobs to position the hooks onto the crossbars on the bottom of the cargo box. Once weve established this position, well loosen up the orange T-handles to bring the brackets around underside of the crossbars. Now you will need to open up both sides of the cargo box alternating sides to fit the brackets around each crossbar. more
